WHY RUN
While working on several TD committees I’ve observed a lack of Bay Area representation on the Board. I’ve also noticed there are ‘assumptions” about what homeowners need, want and desire (especially those of us who own vacations homes) but little data to back-up these assumptions. Additionally I have strong analytical and financial skills and wish to explore how to best control cost creep yet maintain the high levels of service and amenity availability for our membership.
As many owners have observed, the Board is deeply divided over a number of important issues affecting owners. I’ve always been a consensus manager,so one of my strengths is to bring teams with diverse views together.

BACKGROUND
I am very happily married with two fantastic kids.
Some additional relevant nonprofit and for profit experiences:
VISION
I see Tahoe Donner as a family oriented community located in the heart of outdoor recreation opportunities. This we must preserve. To do that, some of what we must focus on are these important issues:
ABOUT SHORT-TERM RENTALS
I believe areas that have historically been divisive, such as STRs, should be addressed and enforced with common sense rules that apply to all members. In the spirit of transparency I STR my vacation home during holidays.
UNDERSTANDING THE HOMEOWNER and CALL TO ACTION
I want to hear from you ([email protected]). I will also schedule “Virtual Town Halls” to share ideas and concerns of homeowners. If you’d like to listen in or participate, please email me and I’ll send you the dates, times and links. I will continue holding the virtual discussions on a monthly basis. Contact me at [email protected].
DOWN TIME
When I get a few moments to enjoy the benefits of our mountain community I divide my time between skiing, rock climbing and mountain biking.
ENDORSEMENTS
